PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 24 years research and 21 years university teaching experience. Specializing in biodiversity, floristics, plant ecology, vegetation science, peat macrofossil analysis and stratigraphy of plain and mountain Siberian peatlands and mires, paleoecology and climate change. Extensive field experience and skills. Other research interests include environment and mire protection and management; alpine plant ecology; impact assessment, vegetation restoration and environment protection on oil-and gas-fields of the West Siberia.

  • Since 1995: studying of flora, vegetation and peat stratigraphy of Siberian peatlands

  • Since 2000: environmental investigations on oil- and gas-fields territories of West Siberia

  • Since 1996: students teaching and scientific leading at Tomsk State University
